Our Pastor
Rev. John W. Mattox, Jr.
On June 16, 2009 John was ordained as an Elder and was received as a Full-Connection member of the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church. John is a 2006 graduate of Candler School of Theology at Emory University.
John has been married to Rev. Katie Mattox for fifteen years. Katie is a Provisional Elder and serves as the Associate Pastor of Carrollton 1st United Methodist Church. She is a 2008 graduate of Candler School of Theology.
John and Katie have one child, John Wesley Mattox, who attends at Rosemont Elementary.
John enjoys reading, preaching, teaching, music, art and writing.
John is also currently serving as the Supply Pastor at Whitesville UMC in Whitesville, Georgia.
